Lori is the fisrt person you will probably talk to when you call. Lori's career has spaned a wide range of administrative experience, from accounting services to full fledged project management. Her path has taken her from Iowa to Houston, Texas and back to Iowa again. We are very pleased she resides here in Sioux City, Iowa.

Tony Carpenter

Vice President, and Sales Executive

Mr. Carpenter actually began his Telecommunications career in elementary school. Helping Gerald at that time with a TV repair shop and also light tower construction. After graduating from Western Iowa Technical College, Tony was employed by Calhoun Communications as a Field Service Engineer. His primary duties included troubleshooting and repair of the AM & FM transmitters and RF transmission systems. Tony designed and installed many AM and FM studio and transmitter facilities.  He has assisted in installing many tower structures over the years. In 2002 Mr. Carpenter became Vice President and General Manager of the company.

Senior Network Administrator, Services Administrator

With an extensive military career, Mr. Kreisler earned his Associates Degree in applied sciences in the United States Air Force and specialized in military Comm Circuit and DISNET network engineering, programming and service deployment. After his retirement from the Air Force he worked for Northrop/Grumman based in Virginia and a number of other national companies. With over 20 years of applied experience Kreisler now provides the customers of Calhoun Communications with extensive and professional solutions that extends far beyond today’s standard out of the box applications.

Troy Manning

Senior Broadcast Field Engineer

Mr. Manning has over ten years of experience in sound, electronics, and satellite technologies. His qualifications and certifications include technical training from Western Iowa Technologies in Electrical Engineering, tower climbing, RF Analysis and many of our partner programs such as; Harris, IBOC HD Radio, Proxim, and Orthagon Systems. His field experience includes complete field installations from transmitter & receiver to entire in-studio component level installations. Aside from his radio RF expertise, Troy also is well versed in large scale RF, security and broadband wireless applications, which extremely complements all the services Calhoun Communications provides to, you, our customer.

Lewis Gerloff

Solaris Systems Specialist

Mr. Gerloff has made a career in systems administration. He has his Associated Degree in Applied Sciences, Computer Systems, and Networks from Indian Hills College. Since 1997, Lewis has aspired in the field of networking. He has worked for GTE Government Systems, Lockhead Martin Technology Services, and BAE Systems. Lewis brings his specialized skills in systems administration to the services of Calhoun Communications.

Engineering Specialist

Mr. Ehlers has an extensive tower business background including everything from ground up construction, communication and transmission alignments to maintaining the integrety of tower and supporting equipment. Rick takes pride in being in this profession since 1997. He is Comp Train Certified in A-Series Connectors, CommpScope Trained, has his SiteMaster Line Sweep Cerification. His safety cerification in Rigging Safety, Fall Protection, Tower Clinging Safety and Basic Tower Rescue.

Electronic Engineering Specialist

Mr. Wabashaw has made a career in communications systems. He has his Associated Degree in Electric Engineering Technology from Wester Iowa Tech Community College. Gary has experience in a assortment of digital communications from tele-communications, microwave, networking, analog, laser and fiber optics all with an emphasis in digital tranmission communications. He has his FCC Wireless License, FCC Marine Operators License, Harris HD radio certified and certified in rescue and climbing.

Digital Communications Engineering Specialist

Mr. Anderson has made a career in communications systems. He has his Associated Degree in Applied Sciences in communications systems from Wester Iowa Tech Community College. Nick has aspired in the field of networking, the whole assortment of communications from tele-communications, microwave, all of which relates to the digital tranmission of data. He is FCC GROL licensed, Element 1 and 3 certified, and has his Amature Radio license. He is also Harris HD radio certified and certified in rescue and climbing.
